Captured in the perfect moment after a hard rain early one evening in the fall of 2011, this image of Chelsea in New York City blends the grittiness of the urban environment that lies as the core of New York with the cleansing wash of the rain. Reflected in the still puddle, the movement and energy of New York become one with the quiet, contemplative power of the water. The viewer becomes part of the scene through my use of a fish-eye lens, which provides an unexpected viewpoint
